Anselm Dalferth

Bio

Anselm Dalferth is a concert creator, director, music mediator and musician. He moves in multiple artistic worlds and takes great pleasure in encouraging creativity and participation. Through his constant practice in the field of unconventional performance formats, he explores contemporary perspectives on music, theater, performance and current social issues for diverse audiences.

Engagements led him to important institutions, orchestras, ensembles and festivals in Germany and abroad. The 23/24 season includes performances at Musikverein Wien, Philharmonie Köln, Oper Dortmund, Oper Wuppertal, Schauburg München and Theater Oberhausen – with partners as diverse as the Münchner Kammerorchester, Simply Quartet and Uwaga!.

Anselm teaches as professor for concert and performance at the Nuremberg State University of Music and is the artistic director of the “D-bü University Competition” for unusal concert formats in 2024.
